Danielle M. Patterson, LCSW (Executive and Clinical Director) (She/her/hers)
Danielle has worked in crisis services, inpatient and intensive day treatments, a trauma clinic, suicide recovery, and integrated care. She believes in treating the root cause, not just the symptoms. She also believes in treating the whole person to achieve mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. Danielle provides individual, group, and family therapy. Her modalities include trauma-informed yoga, art, DBT, CBT, CBT-E, TF-CBT, TST, EMDR, psychodynamic therapy, sand tray, art, and others. Danielle’s dog, Pippa, sometimes joins sessions.

Pippa Patterson (Therapy Dog) (She/her/hers)
Pippa graduated from House of Dog Training Studio in 2022. That same year, she became registered with Alliance of Therapy Dogs. Pippa sees children and adults of all ages. Her modalities include being a living weighted blanket, receiving pets, playing fetch, and going for walks. Pippa works from a strengths perspective and has never met a client she does not love!

Aki Mori, LSW (She/her/hers)
Aki’s background includes working extensively in childcare as well as serving as a mentor in schools and a program therapist in residential treatment for adolescents and teenagers. She has worked closely with parents, young adults, and adolescents with emotional challenges, behavioral difficulties, and unique problems associated with neurodiversity and trauma. Aki is passionate in providing support to individuals through challenges they face in relationships, self-esteem, identity, life transitions, and learned patterns affecting their way of life.
Aki is excited about working with children ages 10+, parents, and adults. She utilizes a trauma-informed and strength-based lens to honor an individual’s unique story and strengths. Her approach includes EMDR, TF-CBT, TST, CBT, DBT, MI, psychodynamic therapy, and some solution-focused methods.

Bridget Garner, LSW (She/her/hers)
Bridget enjoys working with children ages 7+, their caregivers, teens, and adults. Bridget is passionate about using creative and age-appropriate techniques to engage her clients in their therapy sessions. She recognizes that caregivers play an invaluable role in their children’s well-being and strives to equip caregivers with tools to support their children and their own mental health. She utilizes evidence-based modalities including EMDR, TF-CBT, CBT, CBT-E, DBT, TST, and psychodynamic therapy to tailor treatment to the unique needs and personalities of her clients.
Bridget, originally from Louisiana, now calls Colorado home. She loves spending time at her local library and is on a quest to find the best iced coffee in Colorado Springs. In her downtime, she enjoys playing video games, reading, and crocheting.

Reagan Smalley, LPCC (She/her/hers)
She is particularly passionate about working with children and young adults but is thrilled to see clients of all ages. She loves to help people who are currently working through trauma, an ADHD diagnosis, navigating relationships, anxiety, depression, and attachment issues. Reagan is an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist and strives to make the therapeutic space as safe and comfortable for everyone. She believes that therapy is a collaboration between the therapist and the client where the client is able to freely express themselves and move towards the life they want. She has a passion for helping people learn how to identify and express their emotions so that they can better understand themselves and others. Reagan pulls from various therapeutic modalities to serve her clients, including TST, TF-CBT, EFT, DBT, CBT, and narrative therapy.

Kaitlyn is passionate about working with clients who need a safe space to navigate life’s challenges. She understands that everyone has their unique experiences and skill sets, and she believes in developing resilience and empowerment by utilizing a strengths-based approach. Kaitlyn believes our experiences shape us and enjoys learning about an individuals' paths. She is LGBTQ+-affirming and supportive and strives to make the therapeutic environment comfortable. Kaitlyn is the proud spouse of an Army veteran. Outside work, she enjoys weight training and spending time with her family, especially her nephew, and friends. Kaitlyn is a huge Marvel and Harry Potter fan that enjoys watching college football!

Before pursuing social work, Jules worked in the field of physical therapy where they developed an interest in the mind-body connection. Working in physical rehabilitation, Jules recognized the significance of mental health and its role in holistic wellness, driving their desire to connect more deeply and facilitate individuals’ emotional healing. Jules enjoys working with adolescents (12+) experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, eating disorders, and LGBTQ+ issues.

Kaytie Blan, LPCC (They/them/theirs)
Kaytie values creativity during session with clients by supporting them in the exploration of discovering other ways clients can overcome challenges. They are Trauma-Informed, LGBTQ+ Affirming, Neurodivergent Affirming, and Disability Affirming. Kaytie wants to create a space for their client's to feel empowered to grow and explore new aspects of themselves. Kaytie enjoys working with adolescents (7+) and adults. They utilize EMDR, TF-CBT, TST, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and art interventions with clients to cater the most appropriate treatment to support the client's goals.

Starr Rochelle, MSW-I (She/her/hers)
Starr’s approach to therapy is one that involves active listening and asking thoughtful questions. Starr believes that a lot of healing can be accomplished when people have room to share their stories. In our fast paced world of sound bites, reels, and tweets, she finds it important to hold space for authentic listening and processing. Starr believes that every story a person has to share can be important (especially those stories that we re-share over and over) and for lasting progress to be made sometimes we need to go backward before we can go forward. Starr enjoys working with youth and adults ages 12+ who are struggling with grief/loss, anxiety, depression, life changes, stress, trauma. She is particularly passionate about working with BIPOC female-identifying clients.

Destynee Morgan, MSW-I (She/her/hers)
Destynee is Colorado born and raised! She brings warmth, compassion, and joy to otherwise painful and lonely experiences. She is dedicated to helping clients work through their traumatic experiences, mental and physical health issues, family issues, and lifestyle issues. Destynee’s goal is to make sure her clients know that they can count on her when they feel they are alone. She also wants to help individuals work on their journey to better themselves and their lives. Destynee has experience with clients aged ten through adult who are struggling with anxiety, depression, self- harm, suicidal ideation, PTSD, and stressful life changes. She loves Marvel, true crime podcasts, and dogs!

Michaela Loven (She/her/hers)
Michaela works with youth, adolescents, groups, and families ages 12+. Michaela lost her mother when she was six years old. Experiencing loss at a young age herself, Michaela is aware that there is no one way to heal. This has made Michaela aware of the various hurdles associated with loss, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and stress. Michaela enjoys working with families and individuals in a collaborative sense to enhance the therapeutic relationship. It is important to Michaela for sessions to be viewed as a team effort, as well as guiding individuals in building their ideal sense of self to promote autonomy in and outside of sessions.

Victoria Kelley, MSW-I (She/her/hers)
Victoria is passionate about working with youth and adults that need help in overcoming life’s obstacles. She has provided behavior therapy for children, substance abuse treatment for adults, and worked integrated healthcare systems with clients suffering from mental illness. She is passionate about working with clients that have symptoms of depression, personality disorders, PTSD, substance abuse, and anxiety. She is dedicated to providing support for diverse populations through empathy, active listening, and implementation of evidence-based research. In her free time, Victoria enjoys traveling with her daughter and seeing new places. She also likes to try out new recipes in the kitchen and give DIY projects a shot.

Since graduating, Beebe has worked in a variety of settings, notably a rehabilitation center for adolescents and a school-based mentorship program. During this time, Beebe came to really enjoy working with teens and their families. Beebe is passionate about exploring the power of therapy alongside clients by creating a warm and welcoming environment. She enjoys being creative in sessions and believes the clients direct the course of their therapy. Her approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that insights gained through exploring our stories and actions create lasting change and healing in our lives. Beebe believes everyone is able to grow and heal and brings a gentle and kind spirit to her work. Her work is rooted in a strengths-based approach, meaning she believes everyone has strength within themselves and in their communities.

Sarah Lax, MSW-I (She/her/hers)
Before transitioning to clinical social work, Sarah spent over 15 years caring for pregnant and postpartum families as a community midwife. Sarah’s experience with birth work lies at the heart of her relationship with therapy clients in that she deeply understands that all humans endure pain and hardship, but also joy and rebirth. She has a special focus on supporting families through transitions and helping them build secure attachments to themselves and each other, and sees her role as reflective companion for her clients on their journey. In her work with individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety and depression, Sarah utilizes trauma focused therapies, CBT, DBT, TST, MI, and mindfulness-based exercises. Sarah is dedicated to creating a safe and welcoming space for her clients. She is LGBTQIA+ affirming and strives to be anti-oppressive and culturally humble in her therapy relationships. Sarah enjoys exploring the outdoors in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and 3 kids.

Over the years, Olivia has worked with children, adolescents, and their families in a variety of nonprofit organizations, as a nanny, and as a behavioral therapist. Olivia is a passionate and dedicated social worker with experience in mental health, case management, and advocacy and support services for many groups, including the LGBTQIA+ community and disabled community. Olivia utilizes a trauma-informed approach to therapy that is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and prioritizes creating a supportive environment where clients feel heard, validated, and respected. Olivia is an LGBTQIA+ affirming social worker and is dedicated to supporting the queer community in her work. Kylee Davidson, BSW (she/her/hers)
Through her experience working with teens and young adults, Kylee has become passionate in helping support young people as they navigate the often confusing years of adolescence. By walking alongside youth in some of their most vulnerable and formative years, she has found that many are just searching for acceptance and a place where they feel valued. This is the type of environment that Kylee strives to create at the Patterson Center therapeutic after school program, or Club Aspen. When not hanging with teens after school, Kylee also provides supportive skill building and case management services for youth and adults ages 12+. Kylee enjoys incorporating TST, TBRI, CBT, DBT, client-centered, and motivational interventions to support clients in reaching their own unique goals.

Kira Ferguson, BA (she/her/hers)
Kira supports children, youth, and adults in case management and supportive skill-building. She is also a valued part of Club Aspen, our therapeutic after school program. She hopes to foster growth in each youth so that they can thrive in this complex world that so many are struggling to navigate. Kira understands the complexities of being a teen and will bring the compassion and understanding that so many of us are looking for. She believes that everyone in the world deserves to be seen and know that they are valued for their uniqueness. She finds joy in spending time with her dogs and friends where they often meet up for a hike, swim, or a pick-up game of volleyball.
