Kaitlyn Sarna, SWC

(Masters Level Clinician)

Kaitlyn received her first undergraduate degree in Communications from the University of Northern Colorado. After seeing the housing crisis facing Coloradans, Kaitlyn began providing case management services to veterans experiencing homelessness in the Denver Metro area. Realizing her passion was helping people, she obtained her second undergraduate degree in Social Work from Troy University. Experiencing the profound impact mental health concerns may have on an individual and the lack of wrap-around services for vulnerable populations, Kaitlyn completed her MSW from Florida State University. 

She is particularly passionate about working with clients (12+) working through trauma, attachment disorders, depression, anxiety, bullying, and family or relationship issues. Kaitlyn is dedicated to helping individuals make positive changes and achieve their unique goals. Kaitlyn enjoys using motivational interviewing,  DBT, TST, and CBT with her clients.

Kaitlyn is passionate about working with clients who need a safe space to navigate life’s challenges. She understands that everyone has their unique experiences and skill sets, and she believes in developing resilience and empowerment by utilizing a strengths-based approach. Kaitlyn believes our experiences shape us and enjoys learning about an individuals' paths. She is LGBTQ+-affirming and supportive and strives to make the therapeutic environment comfortable. 

Kaitlyn is a Colorado native who grew up in a military family; She was recently married in a small beach wedding on the coast of Alabama. Kaitlyn is the proud spouse of an Army veteran. Outside work, she enjoys weight training and spending time with her family, especially her nephew, and friends. Kaitlyn is a huge Marvel and Harry Potter fan that enjoys watching college football!
