Danielle M. Patterson, LCSW

Danielle got her Bachelors in Social Work from Azusa Pacific University and her Masters in Social Work from Colorado State University. Danielle has a passion for helping others tell their stories from a place of empowerment. She loves working with clients (12+) who are overcoming trauma, attachment disorders, depression, women’s issues, LGBTQIA+ issues, eating disorders, and anxiety. She has a special place in her heart for foster children and their families. She also enjoys training and supervising social work interns and candidates to be great therapists. Danielle moonlights as a professor at University of Kentucky’s online Masters of Social Work program.
Danielle has worked in crisis services, inpatient and intensive day treatments, a trauma clinic, suicide recovery, and integrated care. She believes in treating the root cause, not just the symptoms. She also believes in treating the whole person to achieve mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. Danielle provides individual, group, and family therapy. Her modalities include trauma-informed yoga, art, DBT, CBT, EMDR, TST, CBT-E, TF-CBT, TBRI, sand tray, and others. Danielle is EMDR-Certified and an EMDR Consultant. Danielle’s dog, Pippa, also joins sessions sometimes.
In her free time, Danielle loves to play with her dog, garden, hike, camp, work on home renovations, exercise, take care of her chickens, and spend time with her friends and family. She also loves Harry Potter. She always welcomes Netflix recommendations and would love to see photos of your dog!
