She has worked closely with parents, young adults, and adolescents with emotional challenges, behavioral difficulties, and unique problems associated with neurodiversity and trauma. Aki is passionate in providing support to individuals through challenges they face in relationships, self-esteem, identity, life transitions, and learned patterns affecting their way of life.

Aki’s approach is compassionate, collaborative, and holistic. Her priority is to establish a relationship where client’s feel heard and seen, and ready to do the vulnerable work of therapy. Aki believes in the uniqueness and strength of each person. She is passionate about holding a mirror to a client’s strength and beauty amidst the challenges they face. She is dedicated to helping others find their own path toward healing, self-appreciation, and growth.

Aki is excited about working with children ages 10+, parents, and adults. She utilizes a trauma-informed and strength-based lens to honor an individual’s unique story and strengths. Her approach includes TST, EMDR, TF-CBT, CBT, DBT, MI, psychodynamic therapy, and some solution-focused methods.

In her time off work, Aki enjoys staying active. She dabbles in art and writing, and is enthusiastic to try out new hobbies.
