Jules Cardarelli

(Masters-Level Clinician)

Jules received their Bachelors in Kinesiology and Psychology from the University of Rhode Island and their Masters in Social Work at Rutgers University. Before pursuing social work, Jules worked in the field of physical therapy where they developed an interest in the mind-body connection. Working in physical rehabilitation, Jules recognized the significance of mental health and its role in holistic wellness, driving their desire to connect more deeply and facilitate individuals’ emotional healing.

While working in healthcare, Jules gained experience with individuals struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring conditions as well as children and adolescents healing from trauma. Jules enjoys working with adolescents (12+) and adults by utilizing practices including CBT, DBT, TST, motivational interviewing, and client-centered approaches. They commonly apply attachment theory and mindfulness techniques in their individual, family, group, and skill-building sessions. Jules has a passion for supporting individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, eating disorders, and LGBTQ+ issues. They strive to provide clients with the empowerment that can emerge as a product of the healing process and aims to create a safe, supportive, and understanding environment to best support you on your journey to emotional wellness.

In their free time, Jules enjoys traveling, hiking, rock climbing and baking bread. They also enjoy gardening and walks in the woods with their dog, Rico.
