Kira Ferguson

Mental Health Technician

Kira graduated from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs in May 2024 where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.  Kira has prior experience working with children in the school setting where she worked to assist small groups in building social skills with peers and learning skills. In addition, she has coached children in volleyball while also focusing on growing the whole child in an athletic setting.

Kira supports children, youth, and adults in case management and supportive skill-building. She is also a valued part of Club Aspen, our therapeutic after school program. She hopes to foster growth in each youth so that they can thrive in this complex world that so many are struggling to navigate. Kira understands the complexities of being a teen and will bring the compassion and understanding that so many of us are looking for.  She believes that everyone in the world deserves to be seen and know that they are valued for their uniqueness.

Outside of school and work, Kira is an avid volleyball player who competes on several different teams and levels. She also finds joy in spending time with her dogs and friends where they often meet up for a hike, swim, or a pick-up game of volleyball. Kira has lived in Colorado Springs her whole life but has a strong travel bug that has taken her on adventures in Portugal, Costa Rica, and many mountain adventures!
