Kaytlin “Kaytie” Blan
(Masters Level Clinician)
Kaytie received their Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs before graduating with their Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an Emphasis in Substance Use and Recovery also from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
Kaytie works from a holistic perspective. From their past experience working in substance use, Kaytie saw the importance of seeing how other areas of life are impacting one another which can be applied to many other challenges individuals may be experiencing.
Kaytie utilizes CBT, TST, DBT, motivational interviewing, client-centered approaches, and art interventions in their work with youth and adults, ages 7+. Their sessions have the basis of person-centered therapy and incorporate mindfulness techniques to allow for other interventions to support individual needs. Kaytie supports individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, LGBTQ+ issues, and neurodivergent difficulties. They hope to empower clients through the recognition of all progress that has been made from the start of the healing process. Striving to create a welcoming and affirming environment is what Kaytie hopes to foster in their client sessions while you are on your mental health journey.
Moving from a small town in Colorado to Colorado Springs, Kaytie enjoys keeping up with the small town traditions by taking care rides to remote areas to star gazing at night. Kaytie also enjoys crocheting, painting, and playing games during their free time.
