Beebe Doe
MSW Intern
(University of Tennessee, Knoxville)
Beebe received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Covenant College in 2022. Since graduating, Beebe has worked in a variety of settings, notably a rehabilitation center for adolescents and a school-based mentorship program. During this time, Beebe came to really enjoy working with teens and their families. Having been deeply affected by seeing the impact of therapy in her clients lives, Beebe started to pursue her graduate degree. She is currently a second year student at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville pursuing her Master’s in Social Work. She is excited by all she is learning and how she may use it to engage with clients holistically.
Beebe is passionate about exploring the power of therapy alongside clients by creating a warm and welcoming environment. She enjoys being creative in sessions and believes the clients direct the course of their therapy. Her approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that insights gained through exploring our stories and actions create lasting change and healing in our lives. Beebe believes everyone is able to grow and heal and brings a gentle and kind spirit to her work.
Her previous work experiences have given her the skills to foster a safe space where clients feel empowered to recognize their innate resilience and capacity for change. Her work is rooted in a strengths-based approach, meaning she believes everyone has strength within themselves and in their communities. Beebe is honored to walk alongside her clients, offering support, insight, and unwavering belief in their ability to thrive. Beebe uses the latest cutting edge interventions, such as CBT, DBT, mindfulness-based approaches, MI, TST, and client-centered modalities to help clients be the best version of themselves.
Beebe is originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee but now lives in Sunnyvale, California with her husband. Outside of sessions, Beebe is a lover of all types of crafts (sewing and knitting are her favorites), reading, playing with dogs, and exploring nature. She is an avid member of her local book detective fiction club and is on a mission to find the best Goodwill in the state.
