Diagnostic Evaluation
This is the initial session to begin individual, family, or group therapy. Also known as the intake, this session is 60 minutes long. You will be interviewed about what is bringing you into therapy, your goals, symptoms, and history. This is also a time for you to ask any questions that you may have about therapy before committing to additional sessions. Please have a list of previous diagnoses, current medications, and previous mental health providers ready. If you have mental health or medical records, please bring those in.
Self-pay: $160, sliding scale and intern rates available
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is used as the main intervention for most mental health conditions. Sessions are typically 45-55 minutes long and may be weekly, biweekly, or monthly. Therapy may be just a few sessions or long-term depending on your needs. In the first session after your diagnostic evaluation, you and your therapist will create a treatment plan that is unique to you. This is a road map to help you achieve your therapy goals. As you come closer to your goals, you and your therapist may agree to make your sessions less frequent.
Self-pay rate: $130 per session, sliding scale and intern rates available
Family Therapy
Family therapy involves the client and any friends or family members that are involved in his or her care. Family therapy can be highly effective in developing new communication patterns, healing old wounds, building understanding and empathy, and looking towards growth together. In order to make the session most effective, it is best if the session is limited to 3-4 people. Family therapy is often used in conjunction with individual therapy. Sessions are typically 45-55 minutes long, although may be booked for longer if needed.
Self-pay rate: $130 per 45-55 minute session, sliding scale and intern rates available
Groups
Groups are a helpful way of building support, learning more about yourself and a common challenge, and finding that you are not alone. While groups can be intimidating at first, many people find it freeing to be able to talk about their problems with like-minded people. Group members often share tips and tricks together and find support. Groups are typically limited to 8 clients so it is important that you sign up fast! Groups are usually 8-12 sessions long and may be weekly, biweekly, or monthly.
Self-pay rate: Varies, please inquire about specific group
Intensive Trauma Treatment
Our innovative Intensive Trauma Treatment Program (ITTP) is uniquely designed to address the challenges of youth and adults that have survived trauma. We believe that when trauma happens to an individual, it impacts to the whole family. We encourage participants to involve their supports, whomever they may be, in their recovery journey. Through an average of 2-5 appointments per week for about a year, clients are able to finally heal from their painful past and move forward in their school, work, relationships, self-esteem, and joy.
Self-pay rate: $130 per 45-55 minute session, sliding scale and intern rates available
